Who were John and Catherine (Frazer) Jameson

At issue is, who are John and Margaret (Frazer) Jameson and how do they fit with other Jamesons in this database?

We have O.P.R. Birth records for all of the children identified to these parents. However, we can find no birth records for either of these parents, nor a marriage record for them either.

An additional and perhaps related question might be, is this John Jameson (the one married to Catherine Frazer, perhaps the son 'John' known (O.P.R. Birth Record) to be born 1745, Kirrlamont, Kingarthm, Bute, to Neil McKeimy/Jameson and Margaret (Stewart) Jameson, of whom we have no further apparent knowledge or record? This is an attractive possibility, considering it’s approximate time fit and for the fact that Neil and Margaret’s elder son William and John’s would be older brother, married a Margaret Frazier, also the daughter of a John Frazer, possibly the father of both girls (sister), although there was more than one John Frazer having daughters in Bute at that time.

The problem with this is that the Cathrine Frazer born to John Frazer, is known (O.P.R. Birth Record) to have been born, 1736 Kingarth, which would have made her about 9 years older than the John Jameson, b.1745 , brother of William and son to Neil McKeimy/Jameson and Margaret (Stewart) Jameson, making that marriage to Catherine Frazer in about 1762/63 (when he would have been 17ish) somewhat awkward. Not impossible, but awkward.

To perhaps complicate matters more, we know of two other John Jam?sons, both themselves with a John as a father, one b.1740, whose father was John Jameson (tennant in Barnall), the other born 1732, Kingarth, also the son of a John Jameson, neither of whom we have yet, been able to connect with parents.

Either of these other two might be argued to have a better choice to have been the John Jameson who married a 1736 born Catherine Frazer, then the John b.1745 to Neil McKeimy/Jameson and Margaret (Stewart) Jameson.
