  "Peter Jamieson came from the Shetland Islands in 1795" [1] Their is a huge book (which I think PJ 6 now has), not a formal bible, but a wedding gift? proof of proposal? or ???, typical of those used in that era. Cover in leather with the two names engraved Peter Jamieson and Margaret Carnegie. She is the one who started writing in family names.
